A woman’s world……at least……..part of it *winks*

Hmmm…..I’m sitting on my bed pondering…. All I do is Wake up by 5am to wash
mom’s car and prepare her food for work,go back to bed after she leaves,wake up
again by 10 to prepare dad’s meal,pray,do the chores,eat,watch movies,play games,make calls,tweet,chat……

Ooops!Its now 6pm and mom’s due back. I stop to think for a second….hmmm…I’ve not had my bath and I’m looking scruffy and that means I’m in deep shit so I rush to the bathroom and take a quick shower and run down the stairs to wait for the car horn to sound. Ahhhh…dem no born me well to keep her waiting at the gate o if not I’m so dead. Yeah…I know what you are thinking…that’s ma mom for you….a disciplinarian…..an iron lady to the core. You don’t mess with her or do anyhow if not na anyhow you go see. 

Now…she drives in and I rush to greet her and pack her things in. This is the
moment where I have to stop for a second to read her mood. If its a good
one….wow….dat means my bread has been buttered and I can continue without
stress and be at ease BUT if its a bad one then I have to watch my back because
fire can come from anywhere at any time….*whew*..Lord have mercy!              

In the end…..the good thing about all this is the training I have gotten from being my mother’s child. I have learnt so much to know how to keep and manage a home all by myself whether I’m under pressure or not. Its a shame that most ladies out there get married and have problems keeping and managing their homes.

Its one of two things…..either yo momma was willing to teach you and you refused to learn or you weren’t even given the opportunity to learn. The first case……hmmmm…I could flog you right now for refusing to learn, knowing that you would become a woman
and wife of a home one day but I won’t because everyone makes mistakes and its
not too late to correct them! The second case….well….I cannot blame you because you never got the chance to learn.

Kimye Expecting a Baby!

Kim Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West’s baby!I got confirmation from E! news and recent tweets from the Kardashia that Kim is expecting her first child with Kanye. But it was West who already spilled the exciting news to a few hundred concert goers. During his Atlantic City show on Sunday night, West decided to announce that Kim was expecting his baby to all his fans. And the congratulatory tweets have already begun for the future parents. Russel Simmons has sent his congratulatory message already alongside every member of the Kardashian family. Everyone is looking forward to Kimye Jr……..and if its a girl…..let’s keep our fingers crossed for another lovely name that might just start with a ‘K’.

A baby Boy for Shakira

Barcelona defender Gerrard Pique and pop singer Shakira got a wonderful Christmas gift this year. Shakira delivered a healthy baby boy and Mr Pique announced this on his twitter page on Thursday when he said….“Our son has been born! We are very happy! Thanks to all for your messages!”, he wrote in Spanish.
“Concerning the name, we just haven’t been able to decide,” he said.
“We like Biel, but I don’t think we will call him that, or maybe Gerard. We’ll see.”

The Football Magic…….Part 2

“Choose one ! Choose one! It’s a lie….. you can’t love the two clubs equally, if you do then you are not a true fan”, ” What do u expect…… na woman.. na she no sabi ball”. So people keep telling me about my love for the two clubs. When guys argue that the English premier league is better than la liga, all I can say is each league has its own style and characteristics that makes it special. When the two clubs meet in the champions league, I act like a mother not choosing sides until I know one is being cheated, then I take sides silently . My love for the two clubs is epic because one club brings style and class to the beautiful game of football, and the other brings determination and ruggedness to the game. These different characteristics made me love these two teams without being able to choose because in life ruggedness, determination, style and class are all needed to attain greater heights. So tell me how to choose between my love for Barcelona FC and Chelsea FC when they have both been incorporated in my life.

The Amazon- Bimpe Amoo……my lovely friend and the only female after me(lol) who can die for the beautiful game of football. A worthy and true Amazon!

Davido Reacts to slap rumours………

Hmmmmmmmm…….wonders shall never end o. Davido few days ago was allegedly slapped by Royalty but not too long ago….he took to his Time line on Twitter to say that it was just a rumour.
Mr Davido aka omo baba olowo only disclosed that you bow and prostrate to royalty when u meet them and that was all that happened at the after party of the Dynamix awards. Hmmmmmm….we believe u mehn but really……if you were slapped that kain hot slap,would you admit it to the public….hian. Na so

The Football magic

I remember browsing through the ‘Daily Mail’ newspaper that fateful day when a headline read………’England and Manchester United Star player David Beckham attends the MTV European awards with his pop star wife Victoria Beckham’.The picture was so captivating that my sisters and I just kept staring and drooling over David Beckham.
That’s how the football magic took over the Imoh daughters. We started watching and analysing football like real pros…..it was lovely and daring because all the guys thought it was so cool for ladies to argue about something that was made for their territory alone.

I remember the day in Senior secondary class 2 when I was dared to write down 20 authentic club names and their managers….lol…..I can never forget the look on the male species when I got to 20….threw the chalk on the floor and kissed my rival on the cheek because he was still stuck.
Guess where the ‘posh’ in my name came from?…….

Davido slapped again

Davido aka Omo Baba Olowo got more than he could chew this time. It all happened at the afterparty of the Dynamix awards which took place at Voodoo lounge, Elegushi beach.

A reliable eye witness stated that B-Red was heavily Drunk and was arguing with the King when Davido moved forward to touch the king,In a flash the monarch delivered a hot #Defjam on davido’s Face and they were mercilessly beaten including Davido’s Bouncer by the Elegushi guards.

Davido & B-Red amidst Others later Prostrated & Apologized to King Saheed when they were Corrected by a member of the Crew.
